Pennsylvania Gastroenterology locums centered on true 24 hour call blocks with a predictable procedural day, ideal for physicians who want concentrated coverage that fits around an existing practice schedule.

Highlights

• 24 hour call coverage with onsite procedures and rounding
• Primarily endoscopy focused, EUS and ERCP are optional so you can step in confidently without expanding your scope
• EPIC charting
• Credentialing runs about 60 days, temporary privileges may be available for the right fit

Practice Setting

• Mix of inpatient and outpatient Gastroenterology
• Adult patient population
• Outpatient procedural flow averages 4 to 6 cases daily
• Call coverage averages 8 to 10 admissions

Schedule

• Coverage is structured as 24 hour call blocks with a 30 minute response time expectation
• Rounding is volume driven while on call
• APP support is available Monday through Friday, 8a to 5p
• Nights and weekends are solo coverage

Cases and Procedures

• EGD
• Colonoscopy
• EUS optional
• ERCP optional

Requirements

• Board Certified in Gastroenterology
• Active Pennsylvania medical license, not able to wait for licensure
