Position Overview
One of our Partners is seeking a Hematology / Oncology physician for an ongoing locum opportunity in Pennsylvania beginning July 2026.
This assignment offers a predictable weekday clinic schedule, established patient panel, low overnight call burden, APP support, onsite infusion resources, EPIC EMR, and collaborative oncology infrastructure.
Compensation Highlights
- Clinic Pay: $500/hour ($4,000/day)
- Night Call: $850/night
- 24-Hour Weekend Call: $4,500/shift (includes 2 hours gratis rounding)
- Callback: $550/hour
- Compensation Ranking: Top 5–10% nationally for Hem/Onc locums (2026 market)
Additional Highlights:
- Monday–Friday clinic schedule
- Established patient panel already in place
- Approximately 15 patients/day
- Low overnight call burden (typically 2–3 calls before 9 PM)
- EPIC EMR
- 14-chair infusion center onsite
- Radiation oncology onsite

- Disease-specific and general tumor boards
- Temporary privileges available for clean files

Job Responsibilities
Provider responsibilities include:
- Adult Hematology management
- Solid tumor oncology care
- Benign hematology
- Malignant hematology
- Inpatient consultative coverage
- ER consultation support
- Night call coverage
- Weekend call coverage
- Collaborative care with APPs and hospital teams
Hospitalists manage admissions.
Procedures NOT Required:
- Bone marrow biopsies
- Lumbar punctures
- Port access
- BMT consults / care
