Locums Hematology/Oncology - Connecticut - Physician Assignment

Seeking a Hematology/Oncology specialist for an exciting locum tenens opportunity in Connecticut. Enjoy proximity to major cities for your travel convenience.

Practice Setting

• 4 days outpatient work, 1 in 3 call schedule.
• Work alongside Radiation Oncologists.
• In and outpatient settings for both Hematology and Oncology.

Schedule

• Outpatient: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 8:30am-5pm.
• On-call rotation: 1:3 evenings and weekends.

Cases and Procedures

• Participation in Tumor Board - ordering tests and images.
• Managing approximately 15-16 outpatient visits daily.
• Hospital call coverage for 1-5 patients a day.

Requirements

• Board Certification in Hematology/Oncology.
• Connecticut license and BLS certification required.
• Self-Query NPDB report required with submission.

Travel Accommodations

• Local providers preferred - only mileage reimbursed.
