Our client in California seeks a dedicated Hematologist/Oncologist Physician to begin a 120-day assignment starting Aug 3, 2026. This role involves comprehensive patient care during weekday shifts from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, focusing on a diverse patient panel with a 60% hematology and 40% oncology caseload. Responsibilities include patient evaluations, physical examinations, treatment plan management, chemotherapy administration, and on-site infusions.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manage a patient caseload comprising 60% hematology and 40% oncology.
  • Perform patient evaluations, physical examinations, and write prescriptions.
  • Provide specific cancer information to patients and monitor treatment plans.
  • Administer chemotherapy.
  • Perform on-site infusions.
  • Utilize the in-house pharmacy for patient care.
  • Bone marrow biopsies are a plus but not required.


Additional Information

  • Required Board Certifications: Hematology and Medical Oncology.
  • EMR System: McKesson.
