About the Position
LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Hematology and Oncology MD in Oregon!
We are seeking a dedicated Hematologist/Oncologist Physician for a 240-day assignment in Oregon, commencing Jun 1, 2026. This role involves 8-hour shifts, handling current and new patients in the clinic, and managing a call schedule of once a week and one weekend per month.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Manage existing and new patient caseloads in a clinic setting.
- Participate in a call schedule once per week and one weekend per month.
- Provide follow-up care for patients at 3-month, 6-month, and annual intervals.
- Oversee active treatments, with a patient mix of approximately 70% oncology and 30% hematology cases.
- Opportunity to perform bone marrow biopsies, though not strictly required.
