About the Position

LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Hematology and Oncology MD in Virginia!

We are seeking a dedicated Hematologist/Oncologist Physician for a 96-day assignment in Virginia, starting Aug 10, 2026. This role involves managing current treatment plans for adult patients, primarily handling hematology cases with some minor medical oncology. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, from 8 am to 4:30 pm, including telephone-only call every other week.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manage current treatment plans for adult patients.
  • Address primarily hematology cases and minor medical oncology cases.
  • Work Monday – Thursday, 8 am - 4:30 pm.
  • See 13-15 patients per day.
  • Provide telephone-only call coverage every other week.
