OB hospitalist locums opportunity in North Carolina near Raleigh with 24-hour inpatient coverage, flexible PRN scheduling, and ongoing monthly blocks.

Practice Setting

• Inpatient-only labor and delivery coverage
• Dedicated maternity center with Level 1 nursery
• Hospital-based OB care with no clinic responsibilities
• Support from onsite hospital staff and pediatric coverage

Schedule

• 24-hour in-house coverage shifts
• PRN scheduling with 5-15 shifts available monthly
• Flexible block scheduling options
• Ongoing monthly coverage needs

Cases and Procedures

• Vaginal and cesarean deliveries including VBACs
• OB triage, admissions, and inpatient rounding
• Emergency obstetric care
• Average daily patient volume remains manageable

Requirements

• MD or DO required
• Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Active North Carolina license required
• BLS and DEA required
