This facility operates with NICU Level 2 and Trauma Level 2 capabilities providing comprehensive emergency gynecologic services. The institution maintains established protocols for emergency maternal care with experienced support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The facility requires 24-hour call coverage to support emergency gynecologic cases requiring immediate intervention.

Northern Illinois offers diverse attractions including The Art Institute of Chicago, Millennium Park, and various specialty museums throughout the downtown area. The region features extensive outdoor recreation opportunities with Lake County containing over 200 lakes and rivers, including Fish Lake Beach in Volo which provides family activities. Visitors can explore museums, boutiques, and dining options while enjoying the area's natural water features and cultural attractions.

The clinician will provide comprehensive emergency gynecologic services through 24-hour call coverage managing 1-3 patients per day with emergent gynecologic cases. Primary responsibilities include responding to gynecologic emergencies and performing necessary procedures during assigned call periods. The position requires board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology with continuous availability for emergency cases requiring immediate attention within a 20-minute callback radius.
