The hospital seeks an anatomic and clinical pathologist for comprehensive pathology services coverage across inpatient and outpatient settings. The facility maintains established diagnostic capabilities and workflow management systems to support efficient case processing and timely diagnostic reporting. Structured day shift scheduling is in place to meet the operational demands of the pathology department.

Washington, DC offers a range of cultural and historical attractions suited to varied interests! The anatomic and clinical pathologist will provide comprehensive diagnostic pathology services Monday through Friday, with a daily case volume of 20-30 cases. Responsibilities include interpreting GU/kidney neoplastic and bladder cases, GYN specimens, placenta pathology, pulmonary/thoracic cases, breast benign specimens, and GI surgicals and biopsies. The clinician will perform frozen sections as required; grossing procedures are not required for this assignment. Night and weekend call coverage is required and consists primarily of telepathology responsibilities.
