About the Position

LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Child and Adolescent Psychiatry MD in South Carolina!

We are seeking a dedicated Physician - Child & Adolescent Psychiatry for a 70-day assignment starting Aug 3, 2026, in SC. Our client is establishing a new unit and requires a professional to manage 8a-5p shifts, seeing 10-12 patients daily, including consults for a General Adolescent IP unit and assisting with E.R. consults within the hospital. This role also involves vital community outreach, working with local school systems and families.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Manage a patient caseload of 10 to 12 individuals daily, including 1 to 2 consults.
• Provide care within a General Adolescent Inpatient unit.
• Assist with Emergency Room consults within the hospital.
• Engage in community outreach efforts, collaborating with school systems and families.
• Address Acute Care needs for patients.
• Cover responsibilities for probate court and attend court hearings as required.

Additional Information

• Board Certification in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry required.
• Experience with Epic EMR system.
