The psychiatrist will deliver comprehensive inpatient psychiatric care for adult male inmates requiring mental health treatment within a correctional facility setting. Clinical responsibilities include conducting detailed psychiatric evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing ongoing medication management for patients with various mental health conditions including severe mental illness, depression, anxiety, and mood disorders. The clinician will work full-time day shifts Monday through Friday with no call requirements, maintaining thorough documentation and participating in treatment planning meetings while collaborating with nursing staff, correctional officers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective care delivery in the secure environment.
