These inpatient facilities require interventional radiology assistance to support comprehensive patient care services. The medical centers maintain modern interventional radiology equipment including MERGE PACs and ScribeSystem dictation technology for efficient documentation and reporting processes.

The area features the National Mall with prominent monuments including the Washington Monument and Lincoln Memorial, alongside multiple Smithsonian museums such as the National Museum of Natural History. Georgetown offers waterfront activities at Washington Harbor and walking paths along the C&O Canal, while government buildings like the White House and United States Capitol serve as central landmarks.

The clinician will provide comprehensive interventional radiology services Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM with call coverage responsibilities. Daily responsibilities include performing 10-15 interventional procedures including paracentesis, thoracentesis, lung biopsies, and large organ biopsies of renal and liver. The position requires board certification and maintaining call coverage throughout the assignment period while utilizing ScribeSystem for documentation and case management.
