FACILITY INFORMATION

  • Office Equipment Available: Onsite lab and X-ray
  • Support Staff Available: APPs
REQUIRED PROCEDURES
  • General CV/Thoracic/Vascular Surgeries
  • Coronary artery bypass surgery
  • Congential defects
  • Valvular repair/replacements
  • Aneurysm repair
  • Lung resection (including VATs)
  • Chest wall/pleural procedures
  • Esophagus/diaphragm surgeries
  • Endarterectomy (Carotid & Renal)
  • Ventilation management
  • Bronchoscopy
  • Evaluation & management of acute vol/BP issues

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Board: BC in Thoracic and Cardiac Surgery
  • Licenses: Active OH state license or Universal License (IMLC) with LOQ in hand
  • Certifications: ACLS, BLS
  • Experience: Vascular surgery experience preferred
  • Other Qualifications: Clean malpractice/background; team-based care experience
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Provide call coverage for cardiothoracic/vascular surgery patients
  • Assist in office/clinic setting during weekdays
  • Perform surgical procedures including bypass, valve repair, lung resection, and vascular surgeries
  • Manage acute volume and blood pressure issues perioperatively
  • Document patient encounters and procedures in EPIC
