This facility requires board-certified general surgery coverage following the recent resignation of a full-time equivalent physician. The institution maintains dedicated operating room capabilities and established protocols for both routine and emergency surgical procedures. Emergency privileges are available, with a credentialing timeframe of 45 to 60 days.

Oregon offers a range of outdoor and recreational activities, including hiking, biking, kayaking, and wildlife watching. Local events include community gatherings such as outdoor festivals featuring craft booths, live music, and activities for children, as well as comedy nights and themed social events at local venues. The state provides diverse options suited to a range of interests throughout the year.

The clinician will provide general surgery services with 24-hour call coverage in an operating room setting, maintaining continuous availability for both scheduled and emergent surgical needs. Primary responsibilities include performing general surgery procedures, managing surgical consultations, and adhering to a 1:4 call ratio schedule. All patient documentation must be completed using the EPIC EMR system.
