- Mechanical thrombectomy for acute ischemic stroke

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Board: Board Certified
- Licenses: Active License or Active Universal License (IMLC) LOQ
- DEA: Active DEA Certification
- Certifications: Covid and flu vaccine
- Experience: Fellowship-trained Endovascular Neurosurgeon; must note overall years of experience and years of locum experience
- Other Qualifications: Experience in using EMR & Epic; must provide 2 supervisor and 1 peer references from 12 months; Self-Query NPDB Report pulled within 30 days; must note where the provider will be travelling from
- Provide dedicated vascular neurosurgical call coverage (no spine, trauma, tumor, or general neurosurgery)
- Perform emergency department and inpatient consultations for urgent and emergent cerebrovascular disease
- Interpret advanced cerebrovascular imaging and perform diagnostic cerebral angiography when clinically indicated
- Perform mechanical thrombectomy, endovascular aneurysm treatment, and other neuroendovascular procedures
- Manage peri-procedural inpatient care exclusively for vascular neurosurgical patients
