Locums Urgent Care Physician in Illinois - No Call, Block Scheduling

This Urgent Care assignment offers high-volume outpatient coverage with flexible block scheduling and no call responsibilities. The setup is designed for physicians seeking concentrated shift blocks with time off between assignments.

Highlights

Practice & Cases

• Walk-in urgent care clinic treating all ages
• Splinting, suturing, X-ray review, and minor procedures
• Acute visits including respiratory illness, rashes, UTI, and pelvic exams
• Collaborative support from NPs, RNs, LPNs, and MAs

Schedule

• Monday through Thursday coverage
• 10a-10p and 6a-6p shift options
• Minimum of 4 consecutive shifts monthly required
• Ongoing coverage with multiple open shift blocks

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine
• Active Illinois license or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact qualifications required
• ATLS, CSR, and PALS certifications required

• Travel and lodging accommodations provided
• Rental car and mileage reimbursement available
• EPIC charting system in place
