• Friday - Monday, 7 am - 7 am (72-hour shift)
• Call only coverage -- mostly weekend shifts
• 5 - 10 patients per shift; 1 - 3 admissions per call period
• Inpatient rounding required
• Adult and pediatric general surgery experience required
• Laparoscopic surgery -- appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernioplasty
• Head/neck, breast, liver, and chest wall/pleural procedures required
• GI endoscopy: upper, lower, sigmoidoscopy, and colonoscopy required
• Paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing expenses
• Assignment details and time entry in online portal
