Position Summary:
The Logistics and Packaging Tech is responsible for accurately fulfilling orders, creating compliance labels, manifests, and packaging cannabis materials while ensuing proper labeling and quality. This role requires all tasks to be completed in accordance with company policies, procedures, and operational guidelines while maintaining an organized workflow, upholding quality control standards, and a clean, efficient work environment.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Pull, Prepare, and stage products for delivery.
- Ensure full compliance with METRC requirements and state regulations.
- Receive cannabis items via transport into the facility.
- Package cannabis materials with proper labeling.
- Completion of accurate data logs.
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills, clear communication and proficiency in Windows-Based software.
- Develop quality control and safe troubleshooting skills for packaging and labeling equipment.
- Safely and efficiently operate production equipment and machinery.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all work areas throughout the day to support a safe, clean, and efficient environment.
- Perform any additional duties assigned by management.
Knowledge, Experience, and Education:
- 1- 2 years minimum experience in regulated cannabis or related industry preferred.
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Requires some computer/office tasks such as typing.
- Weekend availability when required.
- Organizational skills.
- Shipping and Receiving knowledge preferred.
