Logistics Manager Matawan, NJ Trebor is a dynamic and growing wholesale paper distributor seeking an aggressive experienced full-time Logistics Manager to work with our CSR s to procure freight rates that can be held for the life of that specific PO. Objectives of this role * Support strategy execution for logistics and warehousing * Acquire rates for our CSR s pursuant to the needs of the specific PO. * Maintain awareness of industry and global logistics trends that will benefit company in the marketplace Responsibilities * Identifying issues and actions to be taken, if problems arise * Conduct root-cause analysis of failures and take corrective actions * Report regularly to senior managers about progress, plans, and problems that could affect costs. * Manage compliance, quality control, and quality assurance standards and specifications Required skills and qualifications * Three or more years of experience in logistics for wholesale distribution. * Four or more years of experience in project management or a leadership position * Strong systems skills, including proficiency with integrated software applications * Excellent verbal and written communication skills Preferred skills and qualifications * Bachelor s degree (or equivalent) in business administration, with focus on supply-chain management * Knowledge of end-to-end logistics operations (including maritime, over-the-road, rail, customs, and warehousing)
