Logistics Transportation Manager

The Logistics Transportation Manager is responsible for managing and optimizing the company's B2B transportation and distribution operations across the United States. This position ensures our Strategic Partner orders are delivered accurately, on time, and cost-effectively while developing and maintaining a reliable transportation network to support the company's growing B2B partner base.

The role will have primary ownership of carrier relationships, participation in freight rate negotiations, transportation performance, delivery execution, and the strategic development and execution of Avocado's national distribution network. The ideal candidate combines strong operational execution with analytical and strategic thinking, using transportation data, market conditions, and customer requirements to continuously improve service levels and reduce logistics costs. The ideal candidate is both an operator and a strategist. They are comfortable managing the day-to-day urgency of getting B2B shipments delivered while also stepping back to ask whether the company has the right carriers, rates, distribution locations, and transportation strategy to support long-term growth.

They should be highly analytical, commercially minded, and comfortable negotiating with transportation providers while building strong internal and external relationships. The successful candidate will take ownership of the transportation network and continuously look for ways to make the company's B2B distribution operation more reliable, scalable, and cost-effective.
