Sales Representative For OEM Metal Forming Lubricants

My name is Rick Alexander, Chemical Coatings Talent Acquisition at Management Recruiters of Davidson.

My client is seeking a sales representative to sell OEM metal forming lubricants in the Southeast territory. Ideally, the furthest north would be Cincinnati, OH; the furthest east would be Charlotte, NC; the furthest south would be Birmingham, AL, and the furthest west would be Dickson, TN.

Primary duties:

• Sales of metal forming lubricant products to new and existing OEM customers directly or through distribution
• Service customers and run product trials as needed
• Involve the lab in selecting the correct product, and let them know the specifications that can be met with formulation modifications
• Hunter for new business

Requirements:

• Ideally resides in the territory
• 5 years of experience in metalworking fluids, forming lubricants, lapping compounds, industrial cleaners, rust preventives, and low-VOC, water-based corrosion-resistant industrial and automotive coatings
• The ideal candidate would already have sales/technical experience in some of these for 5 years
