Contractors Counter Associate

Join East Coast Lumber & Building Supply Co as a Contractors Counter Associate, where you'll be the friendly face that supports our valued contractor customers. This role offers a dynamic work environment that combines customer service with industry expertise in building supplies.

Responsibilities:

• Assist contractors with product inquiries and order processing at the counter.
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on building materials and tools.
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Handle returns and exchanges while maintaining a positive customer experience.
• Participate in training sessions to improve skills and product knowledge.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience in retail or building supply preferred.
• Strong customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
• Basic knowledge of construction materials and tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with point-of-sale systems and basic computer skills.
• Team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

Compensation: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
