We are hiring a Machinist/Quality Inspector at our Windsor, CT. location.
Set up and operating machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, drill presses, grinders, and shapers to fabricate metal parts.
Set up, calibrate, and test equipment and evaluate the results of the test data.
Verifies conformance of finished work piece to specifications, using measuring tools, such as calipers and micrometers.
Work from drawings and process sheets to perform production tasks.
Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance tasks to ensure machine longevity, including lubrication, cleaning, and tool replacement.
Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures
Conform to specifications, drawings, order requirements and applicable codes or standards.
Inspect shafts, impellers, castings and casings
Your Experience Should Be...
High school diploma or a GED.
3 years of experience working in a quality environment in manufacturing.
-Pay attention to details.
- Good oral and written communication
-Ability to work on a computer.
Ability to lift up to 50lbs
Must possess mechanical aptitude
