Position Summary...

The Manager, Product Development Bedding will help shape compelling bedding assortments by developing products that combine style, quality, performance, innovation, and exceptional value. This role leads product development from concept through commercialization and works closely with cross-functional partners like Design, Merchants, Sourcing, Quality, Packaging, Site Experience, and Supplier partners. This role translates customer needs, market trends, and brand strategies into products customers will love. The ideal candidate combines strong product and textile knowledge, technical expertise, design sensibility, commercial thinking, and a passion for creating great products.

What You'll Do...

Lead end-to-end product development across assigned bedding categories, from product briefs and concept development through sampling, costing, testing, approvals, and commercialization.

Translate consumer insights, market trends, competitive intelligence, and design direction into scalable, commercially successful products and assortments.

Establish clear product specifications, technical requirements, and performance standards to reduce development iterations, improve first-pass approvals, and accelerate speed to market.

Partner closely with Design to elevate product aesthetics, materials, finishes, construction, functionality, and overall customer appeal.

Manage development timelines and collaborate across functions to ensure on-time execution and consistent product experience from product to packaging and digital presentation.

What You'll Bring...

Experience in product development, textiles, sourcing, manufacturing, or a related field, preferably within bedding, home textiles, or soft home.

Strong knowledge of textile materials, fabric constructions, finishes, product specifications, manufacturing processes, and performance requirements.

Strong product judgment and design sensibility, with the ability to evaluate both the aesthetic and technical aspects of a product.

A customer-first and commercially minded approach, with the ability to balance innovation, quality, cost, and value.

Experience partnering with global suppliers and cross-functional teams to successfully move products from concept through commercialization.

Minimum Qualifications...

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Design, or related field and 2 years' experience in design, merchandising, marketing, or related area OR 4 years' experience in design, merchandising, marketing, or related area.
