Volt is immediately hiring for a 1st shift Manufacturing Masker (Painter) for a company located in Long Beach, CA.
As a 1st shift Masker you will:
- Apply masking tape and masking materials to aerospace parts per work instructions, prints, or process requirements
- Work with small parts and components, ensuring precise coverage and clean application
- Inspect parts before and after masking to ensure quality and completeness
- Follow written work instructions, routers, and quality standards
- Maintain an organized and clean work area
- Meet productivity and quality expectations while maintaining accuracy
- Comply with safety, quality, and company policies at all times
This is a full time opportunity. 5 days a week. 8+ hours per day.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Required Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to work with small, detailed parts and perform fine handwork
- Strong attention to detail and ability to stay focused on repetitive tasks
- Ability to follow instructions and remain on task with minimal supervision
- Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in manufacturing, masking, plating, painting, or aerospace environments
- Familiarity with shop paperwork, routers, or visual work instructions
Schedule: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
Days: Monday through Friday and occasionally overtime on Saturday
Pay Rate: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
