Material Handler II - Elctic Pallet Jack Picker 2nd Shift

Primary Objective: Operates electric and manual pallet jack to move material and pallets throughout the warehouse while performing the picking operation.

Shift: 2nd: M-F, 2:30pm-11:00pm

Equipment Knowledge: Sit-Down Forklift Electric Pallet Jack

Responsibilities:

• Picking Operate powered industrial truck(s) to assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets.
• Keys order into Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Verifies stock availability and audits orders for accuracy
• Conveys picked orders to packing station or shipping areas
• Putaway Utilizes powered industrial equipment to move product into pre-designated areas within warehouse once received
• Keys location of product into inventory control system and places product onto shelves
• Ensures product is placed into accurate location
• General Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor
• Follows standard operating and safety procedures
• Keeps area safe, clean, and organized
• Performs other related duties as required

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1 or more years previous distribution/warehouse experience.
• Must have a minimum of six months to 1 year of sit-down forklift. Reach truck, and OP experience.
• Good oral and written communications skills.
• Good record keeping skills.
• Good listening skills.
• Accurate measurement capability.
• Ability to understand and speak English.
• Ability to work in a safe conscientious manner.
• Must be Dal-Tile certified to operate powered industrial trucks.
