Material Handler / Forklift Operator

Are you an experienced forklift operator who enjoys working with heavy-duty materials and keeping operations running smoothly? A growing Food Manufacturing company in Selma is looking for a dependable Material Handler / Forklift Operator to join their warehouse team!

In this role, you'll be responsible for safely moving large and heavy products throughout the facility while supporting shipping, receiving, inventory, and production operations. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with long-term potential for the right candidate.

Material Handler / Forklift Operator Responsibilities:

• Operate sit-down forklifts to safely transport large, heavy, and oversized materials throughout the warehouse and yard.
• Load and unload trucks while ensuring products are properly secured and handled with care.
• Stage materials for production, shipping, and receiving departments.
• Perform material handling duties including wrapping, palletizing, and organizing inventory.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and report any safety or maintenance concerns.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while following all company safety procedures.
• Assist with inventory counts and warehouse organization as needed.

Monday Friday 7:00 AM 3:30 PM

Material Handler / Forklift Operator Qualifications:

• 2+ years of forklift experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or industrial environment.
• Experience handling heavy, oversized, or large materials/products.
• Ability to safely load, unload, and move materials in fast-paced environments.
• Strong attention to safety and warehouse procedures.
• Ability to lift, move, and work around heavy materials throughout the shift.

Pay:

$17-$19/Hourly
