Materials Expediter

Duties

Receives material, parts, components, and assemblies undergoing test, repair, rework, or manufacture in a maintenance production complex.

Fills requisitions, work orders, and other requests for materials, tools, or other items.

Expedites the movement of critical parts and items which will have the greatest impact on productions.

Physically unloads/moves parts and materials to be turned into supply and verifies appropriate documents and provided to those receiving the items.

Operates and performs routine maintenance on a variety of materials handling equipment.
