Physician / NP / PA – Veterans’ C&P Exams

Location: Clinic within 15 miles of Hinesville, GA
Schedule: 3 days per week
Arrangement: 1099 Independent Contractor
Compensation: NP/PA — up to $800/day; MD/DO — up to $1,100/day
Clinic: Provided; your own office is not required

Position Overview

We are seeking a physician (MD/DO), nurse practitioner (NP), or physician assistant (PA) to perform general medicine Compensation & Pension (C&P) disability examinations for Veterans.

These evaluations support the VA disability claims process. There is no treatment, prescribing, or ongoing patient care.

Responsibilities

• Review Veterans’ medical records and claim information.

• Discuss medical history, current symptoms, and functional limitations.

• Perform focused physical examinations related to the assigned claimed conditions.

• Complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs), including examination findings, measurements, and narrative documentation.

• Provide medical opinions with supporting rationale when requested and within your professional scope.

• Respond to documentation clarification requests and complete reports within the client’s required timeframe.

Qualifications

• MD, DO, NP, or PA with an active, appropriate Georgia license.

• Relevant experience in general medicine, primary care, family medicine, or internal medicine.

• Strong physical assessment and medical documentation skills.

• Availability to work 3 days per week.

• Completion of client credentialing and required training before starting.

Training & Credentialing

Training is provided on the EMR system, C&P examination process, and DBQ documentation requirements. Providers will submit an updated CV, license information, applicable certification information, and any additional documents requested during credentialing.

Scheduling & Practice Setting

A clinic location is provided within 15 miles of Hinesville. A scheduler coordinates appointments based on approved availability and local exam demand.
