Mechanical Inspector

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Inspector for a well-established company. The ideal candidate for the Mechanical Inspector role will be responsible for inspecting parts, including first-article inspections, daily in-process inspections, and final inspections.

Mechanical Inspector Qualifications and Responsibilities:

1-3 years experience in an inspection role in a manufacturing environment

Read technical drawings and understand geometric tolerancing

Expertly use various hand tools to measure parts (micrometer, drop indicator, etc.)

Understand how to set up high-precision repeatable measurements

Operate measuring microscope and optical comparator

Operate CMM and vision measurement system

Perform "First Piece" inspections and record results

Perform Daily AQL inspections on a variety of parts

Perform Final inspections and record results

Keep accurate manual and computer records as required

Mechanical Inspector Compensation & Benefits:

Salary range of $55K - $65K, based on experience
