About the PracticeAddora Plastic Surgery is a specialty private practice opening in Rye Brook, NY in August 2026, dedicated to breast cancer reconstruction, cosmetic breast and body surgery, and general plastic surgery. We are building a patient-centered environment where every individual receives a genuinely personal and exceptional experience. We are looking for a dedicated Medical Assistant to join us as a founding team member and help us build something meaningful from the ground up.About the RoleThis is a full-time position for someone who thrives in a close-knit, dynamic environment and is excited to be part of a clinical practice from its very beginning. Because we are a launching practice, this role offers an incredible variety of experiences combining clinical care, patient relations, and brand growth. We are looking for a motivated professional who wants to grow with us for the long term.ResponsibilitiesPatient rooming, vital signs, and preparation for consultations and clinical appointmentsPre-operative and post-operative clinical care support under direct physician supervisionPrior authorization coordination in partnership with our billing teamFront desk coverage including scheduling, check-in, check-out, and warm patient communicationSupporting the practice's social media presence (Instagram and Facebook) by creating, scheduling, and community-managing content in alignment with practice guidelinesMaintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming clinical environmentOrdering and managing medical and office suppliesWhat We Are Looking ForA warm, attentive, and professional demeanor with a genuine passion for surgical patient careCommitment to a concierge-level patient experience in a specialty surgical settingAbility to take initiative, prioritize tasks, and adapt fluidly as the practice growsStrong verbal and written communication skills with a team-first attitudeReliable, highly detail-oriented, and eager to expand your clinical skill setComfortable and active on social media platforms, with an eye for creating engaging content that reflects a premium medical brandPrior experience in a plastic surgery or surgical specialty office is preferred, but an exceptional attitude and willingness to learn are our top prioritiesQualificationsMedical Assistant certification preferredBLS certification required (or willingness to obtain prior to start date)Prior clinical office experience preferredFamiliarity with EMR systems is a plusScheduleFull-time, 40 hours per weekWhat We Offer$23 to $26 per hour, commensurate with experienceHealth insurance benefits availablePaid time off (PTO)The unique opportunity to be a foundational member of a premier private practiceAs a specialty private practice led by our owner and medical director, we pride ourselves on the flexibility and personal attention that a large hospital institution simply cannot offer.
