Medical Assistant

As a Medical Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting both patients and providers by ensuring efficient clinic flow and delivering high-quality patient care. Greet and prepare patients for their visit, including gathering medical histories, vital signs, and required documentation. Assist providers during exams and procedures while ensuring patients feel comfortable and informed. Maintain consistent patient flow to maximize provider time and enhance the patient experience. Accurately document patient information in the electronic health record in a timely manner. Perform basic clinical procedures and administer medications safely as directed by the provider. Prepare exam rooms, maintain cleanliness, and ensure all necessary supplies and equipment are stocked and ready. Provide patients with clear instructions, education materials, and discharge information tailored to their needs. Schedule follow-up appointments and tests, answering patient questions with professionalism and care. Communicate effectively with providers, supervisors, and team members to support coordinated care. Stay current with clinic workflows, policies, and procedures through ongoing training and education.

What We're Looking For High School diploma required Completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred Entry-level candidates welcome Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (or ability to obtain within 6 weeks of hire) Basic knowledge of medical office procedures, including phone systems, computers, and standard office equipment Strong communication, organizational, and patient service skills Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English

Pay $19.00 $28.00 per hour, based on experience
