Medical Assistant

This full-time Medical Assistant role is an on-site position located in Scottsdale, AZ. The Medical Assistant will support clinical providers by preparing individuals for visits, obtaining vital signs, documenting health information, and assisting with routine procedures. Daily responsibilities include maintaining exam rooms and supplies, ensuring accurate and confidential medical record documentation, and coordinating appointment scheduling and follow-up. The role also involves communicating with individuals, families, and interdisciplinary team members to support care plans and promote a safe, respectful environment. The Medical Assistant will follow all organizational policies and regulatory guidelines related to safety, infection control, and quality of care.

Relevant clinical skills, including taking vital signs, assisting with examinations, and performing basic medical procedures within scope of practice.

Strong documentation and organizational skills for maintaining accurate medical records and managing scheduling and follow-up tasks.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with individuals, families, and multidisciplinary teams in a behavioral healthcare setting.

Ability to follow safety, infection control, and confidentiality protocols, and to respond calmly and appropriately in urgent situations.

High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a Medical Assistant training program or comparable healthcare education preferred.

Current Medical Assistant certification or registration (or eligibility to obtain), and CPR/First Aid certification preferred.

Experience in behavioral health, developmental disabilities, autism services, or similar care environments is beneficial.
