Skills needed but not limited to adult and peds injections, visit support, ma procedures, inbox, telehealth and other functions related to role. Support for primary care, pediatrics, nurse clinic and other related services in Bellevue, Redmond, Factoria and Renton KP clinics.

Essential responsibilities include collection of selected data about health status of the patient, determining consumers purpose for visit, concerns and educational/physical needs, checking and recording consumers vital signs, recognizing urgent/emergent situations and referring them in a timely fashion to physician or nurse, participating with other health team members in the development of the nursing care plan, communicating in an attentive and individualized manner in every encounter, accurately documenting selected patient history observations and procedures, demonstrating responsibility and accountability for practice, for continued growth and self-evaluation, and adhering to KFHPW documentation standards.

Basic qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, graduate of an accredited medical assistant program prior to start date/transfer or equivalent military experience with ability to obtain MA-I prior to start date, interim medical assistant certificate (Washington) required at hire or medical assistant certificate (Washington) required at hire, medical assistant certificate (Washington) within 12 months of hire, and basic life support required at hire.

Preferred qualifications include 1 year MA experience.
