Essential Duties and Responsibilities

In this role you will be:

  • Utilizing knowledge of the worker's compensation regulations for Pennsylvania.
  • Utilizing excellent interpersonal communication skill to effectively communicate with patients, families, employers, third-party case managers, and consultants.
  • Competent in patient registration, client account setup, and patient scheduling.
  • Organized and proficient in time management.
  • Able to work in a team setting.
  • Able to transition smoothly between various treatment settings.
  • Flexible in scheduling.
  • Able to utilize the hospital computer system.

Qualifications

Required:

  • EDUCATION: High school graduate or equivalent
  • EXPERIENCE: Medical assistant office or occupational health/ED experience preferred
  • LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
    • Medical assistant certification, CAOHC certification, BAT, and UDS Collection or obtained within 6 months of hire preferred
    • BLS required or obtained within 1 month of hire
