Medical Assistant Gastroenterology

Responsibilities:

• Room patients and obtain vital signs/history
• Assist providers with patient care
• Prepare exam rooms and maintain clinical supplies
• Handle EMR documentation and patient communication
• Assist with prior authorizations, referrals, and follow-ups
• Educate patients on prep instructions and medications

Qualifications:

• Medical Assistant certification preferred
• Gastroenterology or specialty clinic experience a plus
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• EMR experience-Epic experience a plus!
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Compassionate, professional and friendly personality
• Team player
