Job Title: Plaintiff’s Medical Malpractice Attorney

Location: White Plains, New York - Hybrid

Compensation: Up to $175,000 base salary + profit sharing + year-end bonus


Our client, a highly regarded plaintiff-side litigation firm, is seeking an experienced and motivated Medical Malpractice Attorney to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled litigator looking to take on meaningful, high-impact cases with a firm that offers strong earning potential, partnership track opportunities, and a collaborative culture.


Position Overview: The ideal candidate will have medical malpractice experience (plaintiff side - or defense side willing to learn plaintiff side). First-chair trial experience preferred but not required, and the ability to independently manage complex cases from inception through resolution and appeal.


Key Responsibilities

  • Handle all phases of plaintiff-side medical malpractice litigation from intake through trial and appeal
  • Develop case strategy and conduct legal research and analysis
  • Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery demands/responses, and other litigation documents
  • Conduct depositions, court appearances, hearings, mediations, and trials
  • Communicate effectively with clients, medical experts, opposing counsel, and the court
  • Manage a full caseload independently while maintaining high-quality advocacy and client service


Qualifications

  • Active New York Bar admission required (additional admissions are a plus)
  • Significant medical malpractice litigation experience required
  • First-chair trial experience preferred
  • Strong analytical, research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage complex litigation matters
  • Passion for plaintiff advocacy and securing justice for injured clients
