Duties

Assists in scheduling and rescheduling cancelled appointments in outpatient clinic department and specialty clinics

Assists in compiling information and retrieving health records while maintaining confidentiality

Assists in faxing health records, files/delivers faxes to appropriate providers

Performs clerical duties related to patient referrals, notifies appropriate personnel and routes patient records according to established protocols and procedures

Assists nurses with basic nursing care which includes obtaining and documenting vital sign measurements including blood pressure, temperature, respirations, pulse, oxygen saturation, pain, weight and height
