Position Overview: The Medication Assisted Treatment Program Manager position is responsible for the overall coordination, development, implementation, and ongoing evaluation of the Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) program at all clinical sites, in addition to providing individual psychotherapy to patients with substance use disorders. The MAT Program Manager ensures that MAT services are patient-centered, evidence-based, integrated with primary medical and behavioral health care, and delivered consistently across service delivery sites. The position works collaboratively with medical providers, behavioral health clinicians, nursing, pharmacy, care management, Population Health, and other departments to establish and maintain an effective interdisciplinary model of care for patients with substance use disorders.

This position offers a 40-hour workweek, no weekends, full benefits package, 12 paid holidays, bi-weekly pay.

Essential Tasks:

• Provides organization-wide oversight and direction to the MAT program, under the supervision of the Director of Integrated Behavioral Health.
• Coordinates MAT services across service delivery sites to promote a standardized and integrated model of care.
• Develops, implements, evaluates, and continually improves MAT workflows, procedures, protocols, and operational processes in collaboration with the Director of Integrated Behavioral Health, medical providers, and administrative leadership.
• Monitors MAT schedule templates for medical providers and Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs), and provides planned and urgent coverage, as needed, for LCSW schedules.
• Plans advance schedule changes for medical provider absences, staff meetings, holidays, and inclement weather closures in partnership with the Director of Integrated Behavioral Health.
• Contributes to reporting efforts, data collection and evaluation, quality assurance efforts, and management related to substance use related grants.
• Updates and maintains policies, procedures, and consent forms related to the MAT program.
• Evaluates consistency of application of policies, procedures, and consent forms throughout the organization.
• Co-chairs MAT Case Conference meetings, supports meeting facilitation, identifies appropriate case reviews, and follows up on recommendations and action items.
• Establishes, monitors, and reports MAT Program performance measures in collaboration with the Director of Integrated Behavioral Health.

Experience and Education:

• Three years of experience providing care to patients with substance use disorders.
• One year of management experience, preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited university with a Master's Degree in Social Work.
• Fully licensed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of North Carolina, without restrictions.
• Full licensure as a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS), in addition to primary licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, preferred.

Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, 8 am - 5 pm 8-hour shift, day shift Wednesday 11 am - 8 pm

Physical Requirements: Potential sitting or standing for long periods of time, occasional bending, stooping, lifting including of patients, reaching forward and overhead. Proper lifting techniques required. May require walking primarily on a level surface for periods throughout the day. Frequent computer work required. Must be able to travel freely in the local area; between clinics, hospitals, health departments, etc.

License/Certification: Fully licensed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of North Carolina, without restrictions. Full licensure as a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS), in addition to primary licensure as an LCSW, preferred. BLS Certification. Valid NC Driver License.

Base Pay Overview: The starting pay for this position is $68,640.00 annually. Please keep in mind that actual salary will vary based on various factors such as qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role.
