MRI Technologist – Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to perform MRI procedures, prepare and position patients, and operate MRI scanners to produce diagnostic images according to physician and departmental protocols. The MRI Technologist will work under the direction of a Radiologist and be responsible for imaging a range of studies including soft tissue, vascular, brain, spine, joints, and extremities, with or without contrast.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification with MR registry required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum 1 year recent MRI experience required.
• Ability to adjust imaging parameters for studies of soft tissue, arterial system, brain, spine, joints, and extremities.
• State radiography licensure as required by Alabama.
• Experience working in hospital or freestanding emergency department imaging environments preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program preferred.
• Additional MRI advanced-level certifications preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift Hours: 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM.
• Workdays: Monday through Friday.
