Job Description

Outpatient Neurologist Multiple Sclerosis Focus

Baptist Health Medical Group is seeking BC/BE Neurologists with a focus on Multiple Sclerosis to join a busy outpatient practice in Paducah, Kentucky. There are no call and no weekend requirements.

Core Clinical Skills & Expertise

  • Diagnosis and comprehensive management of multiple sclerosis and related demyelinating disorders
  • Expertise in disease-modifying therapies, including initiation, monitoring, and escalation of treatment
  • Interpretation of neuroimaging (MRI brain and spine) in MS diagnosis and disease surveillance
  • Management of MS-related symptoms (spasticity, fatigue, cognitive changes, bladder dysfunction, etc.)
  • Monitoring for treatment-related adverse effects and long-term disease progression
  • Coordination of infusion therapies and collaboration with nursing and pharmacy teams
  • Patient education focused on disease course, treatment options, and quality-of-life optimization
  • Participation in multidisciplinary MS care models and clinical pathways
