Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years as an Advanced Practice Provider: Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with experience in cardiology (EP experience preferred but not required)
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required for adult inpatient positions
DHEC and DEA license applications must be started prior to first day
Strong clinical judgment and ability to triage complex patients
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to work independently across multiple providers and care settings
Interest in program building and systems-based practice
Position Highlights / Direct patient care activities:
Serves as the primary clinical point of contact for electrophysiology referrals and care coordination
Triages referrals and inpatient consults, identifying urgent cases and procedural candidates
Coordinates same admission and expedited electrophysiology procedures
Ensures patient readiness for procedures, including review of diagnostics and anticoagulation planning
Supports procedural scheduling and throughput in collaboration with EP lab staff
Manages post procedure and device follow up and identifies complications
Provides advanced clinical evaluation, treatment, documentation, and billing within scope of practicePartners with physicians and leadership on workflow optimization, quality initiatives, and program development
Other professional expectations:
Complete appropriate and timely documentation and billing.
Demonstrate responsibility for professional practice through active participation in professional organizations and continuing education.
Maintain licenses, certifications, CNEs/CMEs, etc. as required by applicable policies and state law.
