Neonatologist - Level III NICU | Portland, Oregon

Northwest Permanente (NWP) is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Neonatologist to join our dedicated Neonatology team at Kaiser Sunnyside Medical Center in Portland, Oregon.

Position Highlights

Join a collaborative and highly skilled neonatal team in a modern Level III NICU environment with access to advanced technology and comprehensive support services.

Practice Details

• Collegial team of 4 Neonatologists and 2 Neonatal Nurse Practitioners

• 20-bed, single-patient room Level III NICU at Kaiser Sunnyside Medical Center

• Daily census of approximately 12-19 patients

• 24/7 Neonatologist coverage with daytime NNP support

• Care for infants as early as 25 weeks gestation

• Advanced neonatal services including:

  • Total body cooling

  • EEG and aEEG

  • High-frequency oscillatory ventilation (HFOV)

  • Conventional mechanical ventilation (CMV)

  • Inhaled nitric oxide (iNO)

  • Bubble CPAP

• Telehealth consultation support for Westside Medical Center Level I Nursery

• Physician-friendly Epic EMR

• Opportunities for leadership and physician governance participation within the medical group

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation

• Total Rewards value: $387,100 - $463,800

Compensation is based on experience, training, certifications, market factors, and other qualifications.
