Job Description
Starling Physicians is seeking a full-time Board Certified/Board Eligible Neurologist to join our expanding, multispecialty medical group. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician who values a collaborative, patient-centered, outpatient practice environment and is looking to build a long-term career within a physician-led organization.
We welcome candidates with general neurology training as well as fellowship training in Movement Disorders, Epilepsy, Neuro-Immunology/Multiple Sclerosis, Cognitive Disorders, or other neurology subspecialties. All areas of expertise will be thoughtfully considered.
Responsibilities include:
Provide comprehensive outpatient evaluation, diagnosis, and management of patients with a wide range of neurological conditions
Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate care with primary care providers and multispecialty colleagues
Interpret and utilize diagnostic studies including EEG, EMG/NCS, neuroimaging, and laboratory testing
Perform neurologic procedures within scope of training and credentialing
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to clinical best practices
Maintain accurate, timely documentation within the electronic medical record
Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure efficient clinic operations and an exceptional patient experience
Engage in continuing education and professional development to maintain clinical excellence
Participate in subspecialty program development based on training and interest
Requirements include:
MD or DO degree
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
Fellowship training in a neurology subspecialty welcomed but not required
Eligible for Connecticut medical licensure
