This facility operates as a Level II Trauma Center and maintains established programs in trauma and comprehensive stroke care. The institution maintains the clinical infrastructure and protocols necessary to support on-site inpatient neurosurgical call coverage. Resources are in place to facilitate coordinated patient care delivery throughout all assigned coverage periods.

The region offers a range of outdoor recreation, cultural institutions, and year-round activities suited to varied interests. Clinicians on assignment may take advantage of regional parks, entertainment venues, and community events available throughout the area. Additional recreational and cultural destinations are accessible within a reasonable distance, providing options for leisure and exploration during time away from assignment.

The neurosurgeon will provide 24-hour call coverage for inpatient neurological surgery services on an on-site basis. Coverage is required in support of trauma and comprehensive stroke programs at a Level II Trauma Center. Clinicians must maintain continuous on-site availability for surgical interventions throughout all assigned coverage periods. Call coverage is a required component of this assignment.
