This position utilizes our companys core values to sell all Bruckner Truck Sales products using technical, organizational, and customer knowledge skills to influence customers and assist them in applying our products/services to their needs resulting in revenue generation for the company and excellent service for our customers.

Essential position functions and principal accountabilities include selling heavy-duty trucks/trailers and related components specs, calling on prospective customers and assigned accounts within assigned territory, maintaining contacts with customers in relation to their requirements, identifying and profiling prospective customers, reporting on competitive activity, keeping informed on new products and other general information of interest to customers, and coordinating efforts with outside parts, service, and new and used heavy duty truck sales personnel to achieve full market penetration.

Marginal job tasks include performing each essential duty satisfactorily, possessing a valid CDL or the ability to get one in 60 days, having at least 2 years experience in truck sales or applicable experience, having computer/telephone skills, verbal communication skills, being aggressive, self-motivated, having closing ability, being organized, and having strong time management.

Position requirements include a minimum high school diploma with appropriate experience, a bachelors degree is preferred, a minimum 2 years retail sales experience, preferably some heavy duty or medium duty truck experience, the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities, commitment to company core values, good oral and written communication skills, adequate skill to prepare sales quotes, sales assistance, and analyze truck market data, general ability to operate a computer, and the ability to tilt the hood of a truck and climb into the cab or onto the frame to demonstrate it to a customer or appraise its value.
