SSM Health Urgent Care - Brentwood, MO
SSM Health is seeking an experienced and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic Urgent Care team in Brentwood, MO. This is a PRN/Fill-In role. We offer a fast-paced, supportive environment where you'll make a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of our community.
Position Highlights:
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts (variable); urgent care open 8a-8p seven days per week
- APP PRN staff are required to be available for a minimum of 36 hours in each 3-month period (Jan-Mar; April-June; July-Sept; Oct-Dec)
- A minimum of 12 hours of the required 36 hours in each 3-month period must be on a weekend, which is considered either Saturday or Sunday. These hours can be split (for example, 6 hours on a Saturday and 6 hours on a Sunday).
- APP PRN staff will provide availability for one (1) summer and one (1) winter holiday, either major or minor holidays, or the day before or after the seasonal holiday based on the needs of the department. Holiday shifts must be at least 8 hours.
- APP PRN staff will provide the available shifts to the scheduler 30 days prior to the start of the schedule.
- APP PRN staff may have location changes or be removed from a shift based on department needs.
- Compensation: Competitive hourly rate + shift differential
- Support: Strong teamwork and excellent support staff
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing (accredited program)
- Licensure: Current/unrestricted NP license in Missouri (or willingness to obtain)
- Certification: Family Nurse Practitioner
- Experience: Minimum 1 year in Urgent Care or Primary Care in a fast-paced setting; confident in treating acute illnesses/injuries (e.g., URIs, lacerations, sprains, fractures)
