MaineHealth OBGYN with Franklin Hospital in Farmington, Maine, is seeking an experienced Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to join our OB/GYN practice. Help support our busy, outpatient OB/GYN practice under the supervision of covering OB/GYN physicians. This provider will manage a broad range of Women's Health issues including prenatal and postnatal OB care. The position is a mix of outpatient and inpatient care coverage involving clinical care coordination of obstetrical services and gynecological care, labor and delivery unit coverage including deliveries, and support for some surgical procedures. Call requirements 1:4 shared call

The candidate is expected to have completed an accredited certified nurse midwifery and have two or more years of applicable women's health experience. A successful candidate will have excellent clinical skills and knowledge of low-risk pregnancy. They will also possess strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment within a busy OB/GYN practice.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: BSN/MSN and successful completion of nurse midwifery program accredited by the ACNM.

  • License/Certifications: Current license and registration to practice as a Certified Nurse Midwife as required in the State of Maine. Current BLS certification.

  • Surgical first assistant certifications preferred.

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of labor & delivery and office experience required; CNM experience is preferred.

  • Competency with IUD insertion and office ultrasound is required; Nexplanon insertion is desired.

  • Comfort with moderate-to-high risk pregnancies.

  • Collaborative approach to patient care including working with OB/GYNs and all levels of clinical team.

The pay range for this position is $109,659 to $149,380 annually based on the candidate's level of experience.
