We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients in a skilled nursing facility regain or improve daily living skills following injury, illness, or disability. This position offers the opportunity to provide patient-centered care in a collaborative interdisciplinary setting.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
- Active California Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience working in skilled nursing facility or long-term care settings preferred.
- Experience with ADL retraining, home safety evaluations, and durable medical equipment (DME) recommended.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous travel therapy experience preferred.
- Experience with documentation systems commonly used in skilled nursing facilities preferred.
Assignment Details
- Shift Hours: 0800-1630.
- Shift Days: Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat.
- Guaranteed weekly hours: 35.
- May be required to float to other nearby facilities as needed.
