Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Provide skilled occupational therapy services in a hospital setting to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve daily living and functional skills. Participate in interdisciplinary care and co-lead patient groups while supporting an EPIC conversion project.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master‘s degree in Occupational Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD), or foreign equivalent. (If license obtained on or after January 2007.)
- Active California Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalent certification from an approved vendor required.
- Recent EPIC experience within the last 12 months required. Candidates must also have recent Cerner experience. Each work history entry must list the charting system used.
- Ability to work a 40-hour per week schedule and accept auto-offer/backfill requests. No RTO. Start date is firm.
- Two years of occupational therapy experience preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Two years‘ occupational therapy experience preferred.
- Experience working in hospital settings preferred.
Assignment Details
- Shift pattern: 5x8 (five 8-hour shifts per week).
- Day shift staffing and responsibilities to support an EPIC conversion; must have EPIC and Cerner experience.
- Auto-offer/backfill requirement; no return to origin (RTO) permitted.
